A couple wishing to marry should start by contacting the municipality of residence. If neither of the parties lives in Denmark, the couple can contact the municipality where they are staying. If the couple lives abroad, they must contact the municipality in which they will reside in connection with their wedding, when they come to Denmark.
First, however, you must complete a notice of marriage, which has to be submitted to the municipality.
